Vineyard & Winemaking: The 2022 vintage is crafted from six distinct sites within the Kumeu area, each contributing unique characteristics to the blend. The wine undergoes whole-bunch pressing, with fermentation and aging in French oak barrels—20% of which are new—for approximately 11 months. This method, combined with 100% malolactic fermentation, imparts a rich texture and complexity to the wine. The result is a Chardonnay that balances ripe fruit flavors with a mineral backbone, showcasing the Brajkovich family's dedication to quality and their deep connection to the land.
